Palo Altos, CA Maternity Session // Colen + Maggie's

Maggie and I met on a styled shoot! Maggie herself is a makeup artist and its been amazing working with her. The end of last year I was able to document her beautiful wedding in Castro Valley and when she reached out to me I was so excited to hear from her again. She wanted to do a golden hour session to capture this beautiful special time in their life.

The day of our session was defiantly a tricky one! We had originally planned to do a golden hour session in Half Moon Bay on the beach! ps. The weather in the bay area is so unpredictable no matter what your forecast says! With that said expecting it to be sunny, when I arrived it was so GLOOMY! OH NO! I was so bummed but luckily Maggie and her family were only 10 minutes away from these beautiful rolling hills in Palo Alto when I had called her. At this time I honestly felt like I was in a race with the sun! The session was a complete success! I am completely obsessed with this light!
